There are a few (not many!) gaps in our friendly fixture schedule for 2016. These are predominantly on Sundays but there are one or two free midweeks (Tuesday or Wednesday) for T20s. If your club is looking for a game, please contact:

New Members Welcome

If you are looking to play a bit of cricket in 2016, please get in touch.

Wolvercote CC is based in North Oxford (Summertown) and turns out teams for Saturday, Sunday and Midweek (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) games. The Club puts out two teams for league/cup matches (Saturdays) in the Oxford Cricket Association (OCA). The First XI is now in Division Two having landed the Division Three title in 2015. They also won the 2015 Telegraph Cup, whilst the Second XI is in Division Six having been promoted in each of the last four seasons.

There are T20 games arranged for almost every Tuesday and Wednesday evening in May, June and July as well as early August, and a number of fixtures on various Sundays (40 over) dotted throughout the season.

The Club plays it’s league cricket at Cutteslowe Park, just north of Summertown. The facilities there, both playing and changing, are first rate having been recently refurbished by the City Council at considerable expense. We also play most of our midweek and Sunday friendlies there although we also have use of a wicket at St Edward’s School on the Woodstock Road.
